"We brought our two boys -- one aged nearly 4 and the other 20 months -- to Tignes in April 2010 and Marije looked after them. She was cheerful and patient with the kids and also practical, flexible, and resourceful. At the end of each day she communicated clearly how she'd spent the day and how the kids were doing. She was patient with our rambunctious boys in a small hotel room. She brought buckets and spades for building snow castles which made them very happy. My oldest son said he loved her "all the way to the top of the mountain." We would definitely recommend her". G. Cooper, April '10
'We had Marije as our nanny, for our two kids aged 5 and 8. She was absolutely brilliant and we cannot recommend her enough - she really saved the holiday when one of my kids broke their leg and then the other one fell ill. She was so kind, warm and with her wonderful crafty bag of tricks helped to pass the time so well with them. If we ever come back we hope she'll still be there so we can book her! The kids keep talking about her and how much they miss her."

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Kate & yourself & to let you know that we had a really great holiday which was most definitely because Kate was so good with the children & very easy to have around for my parents. We got more skiing in than usual & the older boys both progressed well, Charlie did especially well with Stuart's teaching & even buzzed down the front of Toviere with me on the last day!
So thanks again to your company for putting Kate forward & for the use of the double buggy & the toys - all of which were put to good use!

"We had a wonderful ski holiday thanks to Donna, in fact it is our best ski holiday since having children. Toni our little girl took to Donna straight away. Donna fetched Toni from our hotel in the mornings and this meant that we were able to be on the early ski lifts up the slopes and have a full morning skiing. Toni was always very happy when we collected her. With the peace of mind that Toni was happy and well looked after we were able to enjoy our skiing and have a wonderful stress free holiday. "Although Jack who was 19 months at the time of the holiday gets on with everyone I was really nervous about leaving him with a nanny all day. However when we met Kate that was soon changed! Kate arrived everyday with something new for Jack to do such as painting, salt dough, making a snowman, they also went out everyday together either to the playground, sledging or to see the husky dogs. I loved the way that the nannies met up with each other as Jack loves being around other children. My two fondest memories of the holiday were when we were getting ready to leave Jack told Kate to 'sit down' and then handed her a paintbrush snuggled up to her and started discussing what they were going to do and the other one which defines how relaxed and comfortable Jack was with Kate, was when Kate went to go home Jack went and fetched his gloves and his hat and said goodbye. Thank you ever so much for such a great holiday, and would use them again and would definitely recommend them."

"We really relaxed on holiday knowing that our 3 year old daughter was in Donna’s capable hands – despite having a chronic medical condition (Cystic Fibrosis) Madeleine took to skiing like a duck to water and loved every minute of her trip. Donna was wonderful getting her ready for ski kindergarden each day, applying sun cream and delivering her to her lesson on time, watching from a safe distance to ensure all went well, and collecting her for lunch afterwards. Maddie loved Donna’s sense of fun, was very happy and didn’t want to come home! I would have no hesitation in booking Donna’s childcare services again or recommending her to other parents." B. "Just wanted to say a big Thank You to Donna for looking after Charlotte so well. It was our first time leaving Charlotte with a childminder/nursery and I was therefore quite anxious about it. However, I needn't have worried as Donna was wonderful. She arrived promptly every day with a great bag of goodies for Charlotte to play with, took her for walks, to see the animals, up on the bubble lift - I think she probably had a better time than we did. "Any reservations about using a new nanny were quickly removed as soon as we met Donna. Our 2 year old daughter Ellie took to her straight away. Donna arrived every day with a warm smile and a different bag of toys for Ellie to play with. She took Ellie out for daily trips to the park, sledging and up the ski lifts. Little things such as leaving her pushchair and sledges with us for the week made our packing so much easier. We have no hesitation in recommending Donna and we will definitely be using her again next year."

"We could not have asked for any better childcare when Donna arrived to look after our son while we skied the slopes of Tignes. Going on holiday is never easy when you have a child (age 11) with quite profound special needs –but the moment that I met Donna I knew we were going to be ok. Her smile was enough to melt James’ heart and her jolly and natural approach was just what we wanted. She adapted the day’s activities to suit his needs perfectly and we were delighted that she was able to bring him ‘up the mountain’ to meet us for lunch. Having nudged me in the direction of letting James experience adaptive-skiing, we were thrilled to have her ski with all of us during James’ first experience of skiing and we are so grateful to her for this perfect family day on the slopes. "Donna worked for Tignesie Tots, a private nanny business based in the ski resort of Tignes from December 2006 until May 2008.
Donna’s role was to care for new children each week allowing parents to have the freedom to ski and relax at their leisure. She worked with a range of ages from 6 months -8 years providing fun activities indoors and outdoors dependent on their interests and age.
The feedback from her clients was always very positive. Donna has been described as ‘fantastic, supportive, caring, practical and flexible’ to name just a few. I always found her to be polite, reliable and hard working. She represented Tignesie Tots with professionalism and I wish her well with her own venture."
